“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”- 2 Peter 3:9

Isn't this verse amazing! I just sort of learnt this yesterday and now God confirms my thoughts with this awesome verse. I ask God for a stamp of approval that I'm going in the right way and He answers. Let me explain a bit more. This week right, I keep claiming God's promises that my business will be successful. Well, I thought there was a period of drought because nothing was happening. So I get spurts of "down-ness" but then when I sing songs of worship I just knew that even though I don't feel like worshiping that my God is wonderful even though He may not have answered my prayers. I know deep down that my God is not one to disappoint, that whatever decision He makes it's for my best and God knows the best and He loves me. Turns out that when I checked my documents yesterday that God actually did grant me success! It's just that there was something wrong with the google alert and it didn't inform me about it. Then comes this verse on Monday morning that God is not slow in keeping His promise. The Lord never fails, He is faithful to the end. Am I faithful ?
