Make Way

‘Prepare the way of the LORD; make His paths straight’
Mark 1: 3b

1. EVER READY (Mark 1:20)
The disciples were managers in their small fishing company with servants under them at the time that Jesus called them.

- LEARNING POINT: God calls us anytime

When God speaks to us in our daily lives to do something or to sit down and talk to that someone. If my schedule was packed tight and too busy, firstly, I would not have heard God's calling. Secondly, even if I heard God, I would not be giving myself time to obey Him if I have to rush off some where.

Watch Video

God's spirit moves and happens like creativity in the video you have just seen. We need to be able to be attuned to God's rhythm of life and not just our own.

- RESPONSE/ACTION: “Freeing” our schedule for change

Planning is important because without it, we will be idle. But we shouldn't be so tied up with the urgent that we forget what is important. Live as those who are living a life of eternity because eternal life is what you own.

- EXTRA: The Cost of Following Jesus (Luke 9:57)
1.Giving up the comforts of life
2.Letting go of “other commitments”
