The past few days in KL have been really hectic, going all around the place buying stuff for my room figuring what else i need.
THANKSGIVING
-I wanna thank God for keeping me and mummy in good health and physically fit. We were able to go SHOPPING everyday for all the necessities like my table lamp, bedsheets, pillows etc etc.
- Also thank God for answering our prayers and giving me nice housemates that are willing to help me. And even though they communicate with each other in really weird mandarin that i can hardly catch, communication isn't really a problem.
-I'm really blessed to have my friend Wai Cheong and his family around in KL because they have been a tremendous help. Since day 1 in KL, they have been fetching my mom and i to and from the hotel to buy stuff..to see the apartment and to go out for meals. (It is really quite dangerous to travel in the taxi alone..and even worse to take public transport) Waicheong's dad was so nice he fixed up my broken shower head and drill a hole in my wall for my mirror :) I have really come to realise that these people are God-sent, people that God had in mind to watch over me while i'm over here studying. And i see His plan unfolding day by day.
OH YEAH
Over the weekend i managed to visit a youth service in Bangsar. they were having their Games Gala 2008 and Waicheong's friend invited us over to play some board games and fellowship with the youth. It was quite a warm church, nice and cosy about 60-70 youths.
I also had a chance to visit one of the biggest churches in the area called Full Gospel Assembly (FGA). WC's sister goes there everyweek. Just so happened they were having their Alpha programme..so my mom and i stopped by to talk to the people.. trying to upload the pictures here for you guys to see the name tags and their discussion group. WC was interested in the programme and most likely gonna join in the next run of Alpha. Praise God!
gtg now cos i have lessons @8am tmr. FIRST AID COURSE. haha nite!
